San Antonio Nanny & Doula service is currently competing to win a small business grant from Chase Bank and Living Social. In addition to writing an essay detailing how our business would use this money to impact the community, we also must receive 250 votes of support to have our essay considered. Anyone with a facebook page is eligible to vote.If we are awarded this grant we hope to purchase a building to be used as a family center for the families and nannies working with us. This center would allow us to offer childbirth, breastfeeding & newborn care classes. We would be able to offer support groups for new moms, women suffering with postpartum depression and families with special needs babies. We hope to have space for prenatal/ postpartum yoga classes for moms. For our nannies we would like to offer continuing nanny education, as well as access to the playgroups, art and music classes available to all our clients children.
